Prayers Needed for New Home and New Church

By Tim & Kim LaLonde |  June 25, 2011

Missionaries to Canada

Greetings from Canada! Recently, I made a visit to the University where we took our language studies in the hope of establishing some Bible studies with interested students. If you have a university ministry or any information concerning such a ministry, please email us at: tflqc1@total.net

We are so grateful that you pray for our safety as well as our ministries. As I was trying to get some thick ice off the roof this past winter, a large piece (about three feet wide and ten inches thick) suddenly slid and hit the stepladder. I found myself horizontal instead of vertical! I was thankful that I did not break my skull, leg, or hand as all three parts of my body were hit by the ice. Obviously, it could have been a lot worse so we thank you for your prayers!

We knew that the home that we have been renting since November would be up for sale in 2011. It appears that we may have to move again this summer. Please pray for the Lord to open up the opportunity to buy our own place. This would be a tremendous blessing.

The new church that we established is doing OK. It seems that the small cities and towns are more difficult to reach. Most folks know each other which is a good thing but still it has been difficult to get people to come to church. Please pray for this ministry and all of our contacts.

Please also pray for the salvation of Mario and Helene and their children Jonathan and Rosey. They had visited our special Christmas service last year and it was Helene’s first time in a non-Catholic church, and only the second for Mario and Rosey.

Thanks again for all your support and prayers. God Bless!
